Frequently asked questions

What is a canapé?

A canapé is small bite-sized food. They are perfect to kick off a party but a larger order can also make for a light lunch when paired with our bridge rolls, and finished off with a cake.

What is a bridge roll?

A bridge roll is essentially a small sandwich, but a bit smarter! It’s a mini hot-dog-shaped filled roll which works well when served with our canapés to make serving more substantial.

Can I sample the food beforehand?

Unfortunately, we cannot offer tastings at this time.

Is there a minimum order?

There is a minimum order of 1 box.

Do you accommodate dietary requests and requirements?

We have vegan, vegetarian and gluten free (but not coeliac friendly) options available, and further allergen details are available (contact us for a full allergen list). However please note that all of our products are made in an open kitchen, and while every precaution is taken to limit risk of contamination, we are unfortunately unable to guarantee no traces of allergens across our products.

How many canapés can I order?

We do not have an order limit.

How many canapés do you recommend per person?

With our larger Collections, we recommend around 10-15 pieces (including bridge rolls) per person. For lighter bites or prior to a meal with an aperitif, we recommend 8-10 pieces per person.

How do I amend my order?

You can amend your order right up to the payment stage. To amend orders that have already been placed, please email or call using the below details and quote your order reference and we will do our best to help.

When is the latest I can order?

Orders must be placed by 2pm and a minimum of five working days before the delivery date. Orders after 2pm move into the next five-day period.

Can I repeat a previous order I placed with you?

If you created an account when placing your order, you can log in and reorder the same boxes quickly and simply. If there have been any changes to the products since your last order, you will need to reselect a new product to replace it.

Can I cancel my order?

Orders cancelled before 7 working days are eligible for a full refund, subject to a £10 cancellation fee. Orders cancelled within 5 working days of delivery are non-refundable.

How will my canapés be delivered?

All food is delivered in recyclable cardboard boxes by our delivery team. Depending on location and order size, deliveries are made by fridge van. Our boxes are stylishly designed to also be used for serving if so desired. All of our food is delivered cold and ready to serve.

When can I expect my delivery?

Upon ordering you will select your two-hour delivery window. If you require your order as close to the beginning or end of the window as possible, please note your preferred delivery time in the Checkout notes and we will do our best to accommodate.

Do you deliver on the weekend?

We do not currently deliver on the weekends. If your order is over 5 boxes, please do contact us and we will try to accommodate you.

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver to most London postcodes. Please check your postcode on our order page to see if we can deliver to you.

If you require a large order to a different postcode, please do contact us and we will try our best to organise delivery for you. Please note there may be an additional cost for this.

Do you charge for delivery?

All deliveries are charged at £65.

How should I store the food prior to serving?

Your food can be kept unrefrigerated for up to four hours and should be consumed within this period. If refrigerated, the cakes can be served up to one day after delivery however to enjoy the best of your order we would strongly recommend serving on the day.

How should I serve the food?

Our food is delivered cold and ready to serve. We have designed our stylish boxes to ensure they are well-presented for serving, or simply use your own plates and platters.

Do your prices include VAT?

Yes.

How do I pay?

Payment is by credit or debit card only. Payment is handled through an online payment system, Square. Your credit/debit card information is not processed or stored on our servers.

Can I set up a payment account?

We do not offer BACS payment accounts at this time.

Is your packaging recyclable?

Yes. All of the cardboard that makes up our boxes is from fully certified FSC registered mills, is sourced from responsibly managed forests and is REACH compliant. The boxes are totally biodegradable and can be fully recycled in bins or at recycling centres.
