For five days only, Lavender Green Flowers in Chelsea was transformed into an immersive, multi-sensory floral wonderland, presenting a visitors’ experience like no other for Londoners and tourists alike. In celebration of the start of the great British summer, launching on 22 May, it coincided with Chelsea in Bloom and RHS Chelsea Flower Show, is ‘For The Love of Flowers’.
As guests arrived, they stepped into a whimsical realm, akin to peering “down the rabbit hole,” where a mystical haven awaited below. Covered in moss, adorned with roots, rocks, and branches, this enchanting space beckoned exploration. Moving through living walls and venturing amidst diverse botanical landscapes, mist delicately danced around their feet, carrying with it the sweet fragrance of blooming flowers. The air was filled with the gentle buzz of bees and the soothing whispers of the wind, creating an immersive sensory experience.
As visitors ventured through the captivating areas, each one thoughtfully designed to honour the breathtaking splendour of nature, they encountered floral masterpieces and bespoke hand-painted murals at every turn… A sumptuous feast of canapés by Pocket Rocket also awaited guests, beautifully presented on trays that gracefully made their way around this floral wonderland, enchanting guests at every moment.
Guests were transported into a world of floral enchantment and tantalizing flavors as they indulged in the delightful Breakfast Box provided by Pocket Rocket. This special collection was presented on a captivating display of floral trays, adorned with exquisite blooms that perfectly complemented the culinary treasures within and magical floral on display. The Breakfast Box features an array of savory delights, such as the smoked salmon bagel with crème fraîche and lime, tantalizing the taste buds with its delicate flavours. Guests also delighted in the flavourful sausage rolls with Gloucester Old Spot sausage and HP sauce, offering a delightful blend of textures and tastes. The experience was further elevated with the fruity bites, such as the tropical fruit and mint spiedini or compressed pineapple with coconut yogurt and pink peppercorns, which added a refreshing and vibrant touch.
Each bite of the Breakfast Box was a testament to the seamless fusion of floral elegance and exceptional flavours, creating a truly memorable and enchanting breakfast experience.
During lunchtime, guests were treated to a sensational lunch featuring Pocket Rocket’s recently launched Bloomsbury Box. The canapés were displayed on Lavender Green’s table which was beautifully presented with an array of pink flowers. These were served on trays and in the stylish and environmentally friendly Pocket Rocket trays.
The Bloomsbury Box is a fully British collection showcasing the vibrant colours of springtime and offered a selection of sustainably sourced vegetarian and vegan, fish, and meat canapés.
Inside the Bloomsbury Box, guests discovered an array of culinary delights. The vegetarian and vegan options showcased creative combinations, such as the Edamame & Berkswell bridge roll and the Heirloom tomato & vegan pesto tartlet. Seafood enthusiasts were delighted by the Smoked salmon rillette bridge roll and the Dorset crab & compressed rhubarb doughnut. The menu also featured delectable choices like the Cotswold Coronation chicken and a selection of mouthwatering cakes and desserts. This sumptuous lunch, presented with elegance and flair, highlighted Pocket Rocket’s commitment to exceptional dining experiences and sustainability.
